Lizard Lane Holiday Park

The tranquil sloping grassy site offers spectacular sea views, which can only be described as breath-taking! The park is close by to pubs serving food, a farm shop and cafe. There are some lovely walking and cycling trails running past the site, horse riding and golf courses nearby too. For the family, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is a pleasant coastal stroll away. For a wider choice of restaurants, nightlife and shops South Shields Town Centre is only a 30 minute walk away, while a few minutes down the coast is the rapidly developing Seaburn resort featuring its vibrant STACK destination. You are a 15 minute drive away from Newcastle City centre and a picturesque coastal drive to Sunderland City Centre.

In January 2019 Meridian Parks began the process of redeveloping the park and unleashing it’s true potential. A new drainage system and electrical supply were installed as well as resurfaced roads. All pitches were elevated for a sea view overlooking the beautiful Marsden Bay, with updated blocked paved drives surrounded by turf. Lizard Lane is truly one of the coast’s hidden gems.
