Lido Leisure
Views Overlooking the River Nidd and Woodland Forest
The Lido Leisure Park is situated in the Medieval market town of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. Knaresborough is full of surprises, a warren of medieval streets and stone staircases that weave their way up and down the hill. The town centre is perched on the cliffs above the River Nidd and the imposing railway viaduct across the Nidd Gorge offers an amazing view to visitors as they arrive by train. Knaresborough is a quintessential market town with an olde-worlde feel and home to England's oldest attraction, Mother Shipton's Cave.
Each holiday home is purposefully situated on a series of wooded deckings, some with views overlooking the River Nidd and woodland forest. The site is approximately 140 acres, located in stunning varied terrain, bordering 1 mile of the River Nidd with fishing rights along its bank. Holiday hire is allowed on our exclusive ‘N’ field (only) near the entrance to the park.
We have a Pub/Restaurant on site (The Mill Tavern) recently refurbished it has a large lounge bar area, offering quality home cooked meals 11 months of the year. We also have a fantastic cafe with a balcony overlooking the River Nidd. St James retail park is right opposite with all your shopping opportunities on your doorstep such as Next, Marks & Spencer, Matalan, T K Max, Boots, Barker Stonehouse and not forgetting McDonalds!
We are a short walk to Knaresborough Town Centre, as well as bus links just outside the park to Knaresborough, Harrogate and Wetherby.
