We have five self-catered cottages on our holiday park near Richmond, North Yorkshire, all offering comfortable accommodation with their own private outside space (some with an enclosed courtyard). In 2021 Hawthorn, Elder and Willow Cottages were completely refurbished wtih new kitchens and bathrooms, making them an even more comfortable, rural retreat.
Our cottages are an ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and North Pennine AONB as well as further afield to the Lakes, North Yorkshire Moors and North East Coastline. The historic cities of Durham, York, Harrogate and Ripon are all within easy reach too.
CARAVANS, CAMPERVANS AND MOTORHOMES
Hillcrest Park in Richmond, North Yorkshire has 20 10 amp electric hook up pitches all on hard standing.
We are open all year round and a seasonal pitch costs £2300 for 12 months including wifi. From Nov 2022 we will be metering electric, which is at 17p PkWh until Spring 2023.
In addition to seasonal pitches, we also offer hardstanding pitches for tourers/motorhomes. Currently £30 per night including wifi. Just get in touch to check availability.

The touring pitch prices include: caravan/motor home, electric hook-up, 2 adults, dogs, wifi, parking for one vehicle and use of centrally heated amenity block with WC’s, showers, hot water and coin operated laundry.
Our two Hideaways, Stang and Bowes, are the eagerly awaited addition to our rural park in Teesdale. They bring luxury, character and a unique way to spend time enjoying the company of your partner.
Bowes (no pets, I’m afraid) has it’s own private hot tub, and Stang (which is dog friendly) has it’s own outside gas fire and look out point, with both looking out over our glorious countryside.
They are both set in a secluded corner of our park, and have a big, roomy, centrally heated space, with picture windows overlooking fields. There’s a super-king-size bed, sofa and smart kitchenette with breakfast bar, while the classy en-suite has a double-ended bath, walk-in twin shower and his-and-her sinks. The kitchen has an induction hob and microwave, so you can self-cater, but we have an arrangement with local caterers if you’d rather pre-order home cooked meals. Then all you have to do is grab a bottle from the wine fridge and step outdoors onto the elevated deck, and enjoy the outdoor gas fire, or hot tub – whichever Hideaway suits you best – and lookout at those those sweeping rural views.
PS: Wifi is included, as well as a smart TV. Stang accepts dogs, but Bowes is pet-free.
