Country
The great outdoors
Do you dream of escaping to a holiday home in the countryside and relaxing and unwinding from the stresses of everyday life? Our peaceful countryside locations in Teesside, Yorkshire, County Durham and the Scottish Borders are surrounded by an abundance of stately homes, streams and waterfalls, picturesque landscapes and endless walking and cycling routes. Just a short drive from our River View and Winston Bridge Parks is the spectacular High Force waterfall. National Trust favourite Fountains Abbey can be reached easily from Burtree Lakes Holiday Park and if you are looking for a bit of history Beamish Museum can be easily reached from Allensford Holiday Park.
Nature
Being in the country gives you an opportunity to be closer to nature and lots of our guests bring their cameras and binoculars to make the most of spotting the local wildlife such as red squirrels and deer. Getting out into the countryside for a walk in the fresh air can also contribute to your wellbeing and reduce stress levels.
Country walks and hearty food
We have a variety of countryside locations and styles of park. Whether you enjoy going out for walks followed by popping into a country pub with a roaring fire and hearty pub food, cycling and returning to watch entertainment on site or just relaxing on your private decking area with a glass of wine accompanied by views over rolling hills and trees, there is something for everyone at our parks. Our River View Leisure Park has an on-site pub with a varied entertainment program and live music most weekends.
Best of both parks?
Perhaps you’re looking for the best of both worlds when it comes to your holiday home location? Some of our parks are located in the country but the coast can be easily accessed on a day trip in under an hour.
Are you still undecided? Arrange a visit to one of our parks and our friendly staff can show you around and provide you with more information on the specific park. You can view all of our parks here.
